FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO HAVE A GREAT LOOKING RACE CAR!
STEP 1: MEASUREMENTS
This is THE most important step! Layout where you intend to put each decal on your car
and measure that area. We need measurements to properly fit your decals to a fender,
quarter panel, etc. on your specific car. Telling us "It goes on the left rear quarter panel" is not good enough. Please, Take a tape measure &  give us exact measurements for your car. We do not like to take orders placed without measurements, but if you insist, it WILL NOT be our
responsibility if your decals are too large or too small for an area. So please, take the time & measure your race car.

STEP 2: LETTER HEIGHTS
When choosing letter heights for each line of lettering remember this:
most letter styles are about as wide as they are tall, so if you order a sponsor name
that is 4" tall and it has 10 letters, that name will be around 36" to 40" long. If you
followed step 1 & have area measurements when you call your order in, we can help
you with the letter heights that will fit in your area.

STEP 3: CHOOSING A STYLE FOR YOUR NUMBERS
AND LETTERING

There are 45 typestyles on the styles page for you to choose from. You MUST choose
a style for each item you order, including numbers. There are numbers and punctuation
at the end of each alphabet. Hint: Mix some different styles on your car for your own look!
For sponsor names, it's best to use a bold style. Use the scripts for drivers names,
city & state names, etc.

STEP 4: ADDING OPTIONS
There are several options listed on the styles & options page for adding some punch
to your lettering & numbers. Slanting, outlines & shadows, arching over & under are
a few examples. We can add any of the options to any of the styles.
OPTION DON'TS: Slanting 7's to the left, arching or concaving a script style;
Slanting a script style to the left.

STEP 5: COLORS
This is the fun part! Start with your favorite colors & go from there. If you have a black or
dark painted car, choose bright colors such as white, yellow, orange or use white as an
outline to give your lettering some punch. Most short tracks are poorly lit, so choosing
colors with a good contrast is essential. Remember, if someone sponsored you, they will
want to be able to read their name from the grandstand.
COLOR HINTS:
Standard Colors: Excellent for all uses. Very easy to work with.
Fluorescent Colors: Excellent for all uses on race cars. Colors will fade fast in extended
outdoor exposure. Very easy to work with.
Chrome, Multi-Lens & Holographic colors: Recommended uses are for race car numbers,
& lettering of 5" or larger. Smaller letters tend to be very hard to read.
Not recommended for use on haulers or trailers as these films have only
6 month outdoor life.
These films are a little harder to work with, as they do not
Release as easily from the liner or conform very well on compound curves
such as tail tank on a midget or sprint car.

STEP 6: PLACING YOUR ORDER
